You Don’t Know Jack + Kitty

Live Performance

You Don’t Know Jack + Kitty is a site-specific dance and physical theatre work customisable to any of the 2,000+ unlikely contemporary arts venues across the country… your local bowling green. The work is inspired by the movement language, sporting etiquette, intergenerational demographic, and colloquial club culture of lawn bowls, an activity and community enjoyed by over 2000 members across 17 clubs in the Sunshine Coast region alone. The foundation of the work is the interplay of lawn bowlers and non lawn bowlers sharing an immersive experience of being side line spectators to the symbiotic relationship of live sport and live contemporary dance.
